The Return of Eric

Rumors are swirling throughout the angling community that Eric G. will return to the Lab in time for Event #4 on July 27th. Shown above in a photo from 2006, Eric proved a valuable sub for several teams including Steve of the Carp Pros. His return has many speculating that the Gaff Masters have the three time champion Carp Pros nervous and that maybe they are looking for a change in order to retain their slim lead. A clearing agitated Jim, the puppet master behind Pancho and Lefty was overheard stating "Of course they are scared and it's only a matter of time before Merle kicks Steve off the team" A rattled Russ went on "With the return of Eric, it's likely Steve will suddenly have a 'meeting' in Minnesota any day now."

It will be a different environment for Eric should he return since the Tournament has officially gone Non Smoking since 2006. Smoking penalties include loss of creel value, additional "hands-on" ES&H "training" and public humiliation (including the potato chip walk of shame). Of course, the Health Office, in association with the local chapter of SHITON, has issued two (2) waivers for additional smoking research techniques. These individuals are allowed to smoke during the tournament events in order to better understand the long term impact of smoking on the well toned bodies of structual engineers. Shown below are just some of the glamorous photos of the benefits of smoking.
